One night she runs right into a boy wearing strange armor who floated down in front of her. His name is Van.

Next, a chain of events follow. A forest appears and a gigantic fire-breathing dragon steps out! Van slays the dragon, with Hitomi's help, and takes out an energist from the dead dragon. Suddenly, the energist gave off an extremely bright light and transports both him and Hitomi to the planet, Gaea.

When Hitomi was concious again, she looks up, and she sees the moon and the earth above her in the sky!
